Painter

Location: Kingstowne, VA

As our Painter, you will ensure that all assigned vacated apartments are painted to market ready status. You will also complete painting and drywall service requests. You will report to the Service Manager.

You Will:

• Provide outstanding customer service to ensure the satisfaction of our residents
• Inspect and paint vacated apartments and complete required forms regarding painting
• Restore apartment to "market ready" status
• Communicate with Service Manager concerning apartments that need painting in order of priority
• Work with service team to complete their functions in the make-ready process
• Report when paint and supplies are low to avoid depletion
• Maintain all provided equipment and store with care
• Repair holes in walls, caulk tubs, repair tile
• Complete paint related service requests in resident's apartment homes
• Preserve the beauty of the building and the safety of the community through general interior and exterior painting upkeep and snow removal
• Commit to professional development, stay up to date with industry trends and changes, and attend training

You Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of painting and drywall experience
• Knowledge of current methods, practices, tools, equipment, and materials used in the painting and drywall trades
• General knowledge of maintenance skills
• The ability to exert up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, use ladders and work in varying weather conditions
